Born in Germany in 1996, Antonia was fascinated by film, fine arts and performance arts early on in her life and began to work in film and theatre at the age of 15. She moved to Los Angeles at the age of 21 to study theatre and dance after dropping her art history and history studies in Munich. Feeling limited in her possibilities of expression in dance and theatre she found her way back to film. After studying classical film production for another 2 years in Los Angeles, Antonia transferred to Emily Carr University of Art + Design in Vancouver to move towards an experimental approach of filmmaking which was informed by social sciences, critical theory and the fine arts.

In 2021 Antonia moved back to germany to begin her diploma in Film Directing at the University of Television and Film Munich. Her first fictional short film Der Antrag screened at several national and international film festivals. Her second short Lass Nicht Los premiered at Max Ophüls Preis 2024 and was selected for the Next Generation Short Tiger 2024 by German Films.

Currently she is working on her next short film with the working title Hypocrisy.
